演講主題: AI-Assisted Research and Ethical Considerations
This guest lecture explores how generative AI can support different stages of the research process, including idea development, literature review, study design, data analysis, writing, and peer review. It will introduce selected AI tools and demonstrate their applications to specific research tasks, while also examining their limitations and appropriate use. Particular attention will be given to authorship, human judgment and accountability, transparency, verification, research integrity, and the evolving norms of responsible AI-assisted scholarship

Dr. Charles “Ray” Taylor is John A. Murphy Professor of Marketing at Villanova University. He is currently Editor-in-Chief of the International Journal of Advertising. Dr. Taylor is a Past-President of the American Academy of Advertising. He is the recipient of the Ivan L. Preston Award for Outstanding Lifetime Contribution to Advertising Research from the American Academy of Advertising and the Flemming Hansen Award for Outstanding Contribution to Advertising from the European Advertising Academy. Dr. Taylor is a Senior Contributor to Forbes.com, has provided consulting services to many companies, and is frequently quoted in national and global media.
Dr. Kacy Kim is an Associate Professor of Marketing at Bryant University. She previously held faculty and visiting positions at Elon University, Harvard University, Virginia Tech, and McCann New York. She serves as Senior Associate Editor and Special Issue Coordinator for the International Journal of Advertising. She has guest-edited multiple special issues on food advertising, digital promotion, sustainability, and brand activism. Her expertise in AI, persuasion, and big data analytics informs her work on predictive modeling of consumer behavior and advertising effectiveness.
